TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. COMPLETING AND RETURNING THIS ENTRY FORM AND DIGITAL IMAGES
Either fill in this form electronically and return it with your jpeg images by email to info@tea-leaf-arts.com or print out this form, and in clear writing, complete, sign and post it to Tea Leaf Arts. 106 Endwell Road. London. SE4 2LX. You may either send a CD of your jpeg images with the form or good quality prints. Do not send originals.
2. PAYMENT
The £8 exhibition fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether the work is selected for the exhibition or not. Payment can be made via the Pay Pal link above. Please attach a copy of the payment receipt or the unique reference number with your application. You can also pay by cheque or cash at the gallery no later than 5 pm May 01 2010. Late entries will not be accepted.
3. SELECTION PROCESS
The selection will be made by Tea Leaf Arts. Tea Leaf Arts will select only one work per artist. The decision of the selection committee is final. Tea Leaf Arts will not enter into correspondence as to why works have not been selected.
4. SUBMISSION
You may submit up to two digital images only. A completed entry form must accompany all submissions. The form must include your full name and address, work titles and descriptions.
Please ensure that you fill in the form correctly.
Please keep a copy of your completed entry form for your own records.
5. DIGITAL IMAGES
Tea Leaf Arts does not have the facility to store original works, therefore the initial selection will be made from viewing digital images of the works. The digital image must be saved as a jpeg. Image size: 800 x 600 pixels. Resolution: 300 dpi. Please indicate the top of the work if necessary.
More than one jpeg may be submitted for 3D works to show the works in the round.
Tea Leaf Arts accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage of these submissions.
6. NAMING YOUR JPEG FILE
Please ensure that you name your jpeg file as follows:
firstname_surname01.jpg
firstname_surname02.jpg
Any JPEG or CD, which fails to submit the above information, will not be considered for selection.
7. ACCEPTED MEDIA
Sculpture, photography, prints, painting and ceramics.
No installation, video or sound.
A diptych or triptych is acceptable as a single work as long as the pieces are attached or presented in a single frame and do not exceed the maximum size.
8. SIZE RESTRICTIONS OF ORIGINAL WORKS
2D works - must not exceed w 1000mm x 1200mm
3D works - floor standing only. The work must be of manageable weight i.e. 2 people can move it. Works must not be delicate or fragile i.e. it can be handled.
Sculptors will be required to supply their own plinth (except for floor-standing works). Please ensure all plinths are of exhibition quality, robust and presentable.

9. INADMISSABLE WORKS
No works that contains noxious or toxic substances; have flammability below 50 degrees centigrade or incorporate dangerous electrical appliances.
No works, which are considered explicit or that contain offensive imagery.
All works must be original to the artist.
10. FRAMING
All works must be professionally framed and presentable. No clip frames. If works are unframed this must be agreed by Tea Leaf Arts prior to hanging. Oil paintings must be dry.
All works must be ready to hang. All framed 2-D works must have wire and D-rings fixed 1/3 way down from the top. If Tea Leaf Arts is required to attach any fittings the responsibility for any damage lies with the artist.
Tea Leaf Arts reserves the right to refuse to hang a work that does not comply with the above conditions.
11. INSURANCE
Tea Leaf Arts takes no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury or theft.
You may of course provide your own insurance cover for the period of the exhibition.
12. SALE OF WORKS
All works must be for sale. Tea Leaf Arts will deduct 20% commission of the sale price.
13. NOTIFICATION
All submitting artists will be notified of the results of the preliminary selection by May 14 2010. After which, successful artists will receive notification to bring their work to Tea Leaf Arts on May 22. Successful artists will be notified the same day and asked to leave their work and sign ‘Selected Work Agreement’. The agreement includes a consignment note, confirmation of details and commission agreement. The artist will also be notified of the collection date for unsold works.
Unless the artist specifically states otherwise the artists give permission for Tea Leaf Arts to use their images on their publicity material for Tea Leaf Arts Open 2010.
The artists are asked to seek permission from Tea Leaf Arts to photograph works hung in situ during the exhibition.
14. PRIVATE VIEW
All entrants are invited to the Private View on the 28 May 2010 6 – 9pm.
15. IMPORTANT DATES
April 01: Call out for Submissions
May 01: Completed forms and images for selection to be received no later than 5pm
May 14: All applicants will be notified of preliminary selection
May 22: Deliver short-listed work to Tea Leaf Arts for final selection

Collect works not selected
May 24 Curation and hang
May 28: 12 - 6pm Press/Media Preview

Brockley Max opens
May 29: Exhibition open to the public
Jun 12:Exhibition last day. People’s Choice notified.
